One Plus 9 leaked prototype shows photos and specs

OnePlus will be one of the earliest companies with an early stage One Plus 9. The specs and the pictures of the device got leaked at PhoneArena over the end of the week.

PhoneArena has First-Hand pictures of the device which is called a Prototype of One Plus 9. The front design looks alike to the current One Plus 8, with slim bezels all around and a hole punch camera setup. According to the review from PhoneArena, the display is flat. This is the least expensive version, not the more expensive One Plus 9 pro, which will probably have a curved screen.

The back of the phone has a thick rectangular camera block with two big lenses and a single small lens. Next to the Ultra Shot branding is an LED Flashlight. As you may have noticed, there is a weird logo on the center of the back; the Never Settle brand seemingly used a fake logo on their prototypes similar to what we have seen on  Pixel Phones.

Phone Arena also published some of the specs of the prototype. The phone includes the new Snapdragon 885 chipset, 120Hz, 6.55 inch 2400 x 1080 OLED display, fitted with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage with no option to expand using microSD cards. With a massive 4,500mAH battery, the phone also comes with the presence of Android 11 and OxygenOS. As per the OneLeaks, there will be a One Plus 9 pro with a 6.7 inch 30168 x 1440 OLED display. In the past, the pro models have always had an advantage over the base nonpro models, so there might be something this year too.

The phone meets the usual user expectations with an earpiece at the top, volume control, mute switch on the side whereas speaker, USB-C port, and SIM tray which is probably water-resistant on the bottom.

The phone is expected to launch somewhere around March.
